The Department of Integrated Science in the Faculty of Science warmly welcomed Ms. Thananyapak Prasertthamma, an enthusiastic sixth-grade student from United World College of the Atlantic Limited (UWC), for a nine-day internship at the forensic science laboratories. The internship took place from December 18 to 26, 2023.
During her internship, Ms. Prasertthamma engaged in a comprehensive study at the Forensic Science Program (SC01 building) under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rachadaporn Benchawattananon and her team. The focus of her studies included Personal Identification through both lectures and laboratory work. Additionally, she had the opportunity to delve into the realms of biology and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) through a lecture delivered by Dr. Trai Wongsiri at the Faculty of Medicine.
As part of her experience, Ms. Prasertthamma actively participated in a science camp organized by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rachadaporn Benchawattananon and her team at the Science Museum, KKU.
Ms. Prasertthamma’s keen interest in forensic science has left a positive impression on us at the Faculty of Science.
