For international students studying at Khon Kaen University, it is mandatory to have health insurance that provides coverage for the entire duration of their studies. This requirement ensures that students have access to necessary healthcare services and financial protection in case of any medical emergencies or healthcare needs.
There are two options for obtaining health insurance coverage. The first option is to purchase health insurance in your home country that meets the required criteria set by Khon Kaen University. It is essential to carefully review the terms and conditions of the insurance policy to ensure that it provides coverage in Thailand and meets the university’s requirements.
The second option is to purchase health insurance in Thailand once you arrive at KKU. There are insurance providers in Thailand that offer specific health insurance plans for international students. These plans are designed to meet the university’s requirements and provide coverage within Thailand.
