About SCi KKU

The Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University (KKU) was established in 1964 with the primary purpose of providing essential courses in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Mathematics to students in the faculties of Engineering and Agriculture. Initially, it was named the Faculty of Science and Arts as part of the Northeastern University Establishing Project, which was the initial name of KKU. Over the course of the extensive history spanning more than six decades, the Faculty of Science has played a crucial role in educating and producing more than 10,000 of graduates.

Currently, it consists of nine departments that offer a wide range of degree programs. These programs encompass bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and doctoral degrees, covering diverse areas within the field of science. The faculty’s comprehensive offerings ensure that students have opportunities to specialize and excel in their chosen scientific disciplines.
