
On 30 April 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Yaowapa Treekamol, Assistant Dean for Innovation and Enterprise at the Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University (KKU), served as a distinguished committee member for the “Presentation for International CWIE KKU” project in the second semester of the academic year 2024. The event was organized by the Bureau of Academic Administration and Development at the Pullman Raja Orchid Hotel, Khon Kaen, and presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyawat Saiphan, Director of the Office of Academic Administration and Development. This project provided a special platform for students to present the outcomes of their international cooperative and work-integrated education (CWIE) experiences. Over 100 projects were presented by students from diverse fields, including Science and Technology, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Management. Also, the students received valuable feedback and guidance from a panel of expert judges comprising industry professionals and university faculty members.
Among the accomplished presenters, Mr. Sutham Iamtak, a 4th-year Physics student from the Faculty of Science, received the Outstanding Runner-up Award in the International Science and Technology category, with the project titled: “PVDF Coating to inhibit the formation of Sodium Dendrite in Anode-Free Na-ion batteries.” The research was conducted during his internship at Chung Yuan Christian University, Taiwan. On this occasion, the Faculty of Science extends its warmest congratulations to Mr. Sutham Iamtak for this commendable achievement.
