Poster Presentation Guidelines
Participants presenting a poster at the 20th Siam Physics Congress 2025 (SPC2025) are requested to follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth and effective presentation.
Poster Format
- Poster Size: A0 (841 mm x 1189 mm) in portrait orientation
- Font Size: Ensure text is legible from a distance of 1-2 meters. Recommended sizes:
- Title: 72 pt or larger
- Section headers: 36-48 pt
- Body text: 24-32 pt
- Content: Your poster should include:
- Title, authors, and affiliations (at the top)
- Introduction, methods, results, and conclusions
- Figures, tables, and visuals to enhance clarity
- Contact information (email) for follow-up inquiries
- Layout: Use a clear and organized structure. Prioritize visuals over long text to make information easily digestible.
Poster Printing
- Participants are responsible for printing their posters before the conference.
- Ensure that your poster is printed in high resolution for optimal clarity.
Poster Display
- Posters will be displayed on the designated poster boards at the conference venue.
- Materials for attaching the poster (e.g., push pins) will be provided by the organizing committee.
- Setup Time: Posters should be set up on [Date and Time].
- Poster Presentation Time: You will be assigned a specific time to stand by your poster for discussions with attendees.
Oral Presentation Guidelines
Participants presenting an oral presentation at the 20th Siam Physics Congress 2025 (SPC2025) are requested to follow the guidelines below for a smooth and professional presentation.
Presentation Preparation
- Presentation time: Invited speaker: 30 minutes (25 for presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A), Participant: 15 minutes (12 for presentation and 3 minutes for Q&A)
- Presentation Software: You may prepare your slides using: Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx) PDF format
- Aspect Ratio: Slides should be prepared in 16:9 aspect ratio for optimal display.
File Submission
- Deadline: Upload your presentation file no later than 24 hours before your session.
- File Upload Location: Presentation files must be uploaded through the official SPC2025 submission portal on the conference website.
- Backup: Bring a backup of your presentation on a USB drive on the day of your session.
On the Day of Presentation
- Arrival Time: Arrive at your session room at least 15 minutes before your session begins to check your presentation and meet with the session chair.
